Ripley Chazire

Founder, Coach, Trainer and Writer

Broken isn't bad.

Born into the world with one of the most painful diseases known to man, Ripley has spent most of her life fighting for her life. Her journey to hope and balance was not pleasant or pretty. Her body abused her, her family abused her, her environment abused her; there wasn't much left to protect her from the atrocities this world has to offer young women.

"You've Seen It All" is something Ripley has heard over and over in life, from fighting multiple vascular compression disorders like MALS, SMAS, TOS, NCS, and Eagles, and the mental health struggles that came alongside those battles, to surviving some unhealthy relationships where domestic, sexual and narcissistic abuses were rampent and ultimately endeding up homeless living out of her car due to failures of the systems that should have protected and supported her and so running away was her safest and best option.

However, that never stopped her. Horses saved her life and brought things into balance, providing her with the pebbles of hope that led her to where she is today, a business owner and author. She now shares this light to raise awareness and help others find their voice and autonomy so they can advocate for themselves in a world that wants so badly to silence them.

It's not just anxiety; it's not in your head, you're not fat or overreacting or overthinking, you're reliving your trauma in the cells of your body because their voice has been silenced. Ripley listens to them and wants to help you do the same when you're ready to find that next pebble of hope and take the next step. â€‹

Radar's Revenge

Equine Coach, Retired Show Jumper and Kid Lover

A "crazy" OTTB (Off the Track Thoroughbred).

The horse everyone thought was crazy, when in reality he was trying to communicate, but no one ever bothered to slow down and listen, passed around multiple homes after his time on the race track. Radar found Ripley in 2019 and is now stuck with her, whether he likes it or not.

Radar is a 17"3 OTTB, born in 2008. After finding his forever home in 2019 with Ripley, he became her 1.10-1.15 jumper before being retired in 2023 due to a heart arrhythmia.

While competing in the show jumping ring, he became known as the Halloween Horse due to his orange, matchy-matchy tack. He has further claimed this title with

some of the most complex and spooky Halloween costumes.

However, beyond his time in the show ring and the pretty tack and ribbons, Radar became a barn favorite everywhere he went due to his slightly aloof and awkward personality. Known for having his tongue out in almost every photo and for rolling in the snow, he is a barn favorite, especially with kids. Even though he stands at about 17'3h (just over 6ft for my non-horsey people), his head stays low to the ground for kisses and cuddles and cookies (if you have them), no matter if you're walking under his neck or under his belly (which is possible but not recommended), he'll keep his eyes on you, ready to support and offer love and healing.

While his story had a rocky start, and humans were not kind to him, he exudes a care beyond comprehension for each and every soul he interacts with from his jounrey with Ripley and her fainting condition, to the safe passage he offers each client no matter their physical liitations to the emotions and traumas he heals pulling them from the body and releasing the charge into the sand so that each one of us can move forward as a more completed version of our best selves.

He has learned that not all journeys are linear, but if you can find just one person

Who will listen and not just hear you, then success is right around the corner. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Rêve Réalisé

Cardiac Service Dog and Resident Cuddle Expert

Ripley's dream come true.

Rêve joined BHHH in December of 2023 and has gone on to become Ripley's cardiac and medical alert service dog. With tasks as complex as seizure and fainting response to as simple as mitigation tasks such as opening doors and picking things up off the floor, Rêve shadows Ripley and Radar any and everywhere.

A long-haired German Shepherd, Rêve also excels at hanging out with our clients who need a little extra love and support. She serves as our cuddle expert for clients of all ages; you'll find her watching the show ring, shadowing her mom on trail rides, romping in the pasture, and if you're lucky you may just get some cuddles when you come for a session with us. â€‹
