Founder, Coach, Trainer and Writer
Broken isn't a bad thing.

Born into the world with one of the most painful diseases known to man, Ripley has spent most of her life fighting for her life. Her journey to hope and balance was not pleasant or pretty, growing up in a highly abusive home, in a body that regularly abused her, and in an environment where she wasn't protected from the atoricities this world has to offer young women, left her in a place where "you've seen it all," is one of the truest statements you could make about her life.

However, that never stopped her. Horses saved her life in more ways than one. From the safe escape that the barn created, to her own equine partner, who learned to stop moving when she fainted due to health issues, to the Gestalt coaching she does now, and her journey to and through adaptive horseback riding and training, horses have been the common denominator in her story.

A survivor of domestic, sexual, and medical abuse. A survivor of complex post-traumatic
stress disorder. A survivor of multiple vascular compressions, including MALS, NCS, TOS, and Eagle's. A survivor of the bad side of the equine industry. A survivor of the American
healthcare and school system. A survivor of self-harm and suicide. A survivor, Ripley sees the survivor in everyone she meets.
The balance horses brought her and the pebbles of hope she found along the way that led her to the light she's in now, a business owner and author, the light she now spreads by raising awareness and helping horse and humans find their voice and advocate for themselves in a world that tries to hard to silence so many. It's not just anxiety, it's not in your head, you're not fat or overreacting or overthinking, you're reliving your trauma in the cells of your body because their voice has been silenced. Ripley listens to them and wants to help you do the same when you're ready to find that next pebble of hope and take the next step.

Radar's Revenge
Equine Coach, Retired Show Jumper and Kid Lover
A "dangerous" OTTB (Off the Track Thoroughbred).

Who was trying to communicate, but no one ever bothered to slow down and listen, passed around multiple homes after his time on the race track. Radar found Ripley 7 in 2019 and is now stuck with her, whether he likes it or not.

Radar is a 17"3 OTTB, born in 2008. After finding his forever home in 2019 with Ripley, he became her 1.10-1.15 jumper before being retired in 2023 due to a heart arrhythmia.
While competing in the show jumping ring, he became known as the Halloween Horse due to his orange, matchy-matchy tack, he has further claimed this title with
some of the most complex and spooky Halloween costumes.

However, beyond his time in the show ring and the pretty tack and ribbons, Radar became a barn favorite everywhere he went due to his slightly aloof and awkward personality. Known for having his tongue out in almost every photo and for rolling in the snow, he is a barn favorite, especially with kids. Even though he stands at about 6'2, his head stays low to the ground for kisses and cuddles and cookies if you have them, no matter if you're walking under his neck or under his belly (which is possible but not recommended), he always keeps an eye on you.

While he may have started his journey with Ripley in a fall that broke over 20 bones, he is now everyone's horse. Offering safe passage to kids, adults, and grandparents. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders. Fainters, Seizures, Pelegics, and anyone else with any disability, he truly is a miracle horse. Or if riding isn't your style, he would love to partner with you on the ground to find
whatever healing and balance you need.

He has learned that not all journeys are linear, but if you can find just one person
who will listen and not just hear you, then success is right around the corner.
