How did I get to 5k on my database?

So I love database, all parts of it, but I didn’t start that way. I’m a 9 I, a massive introvert, the last thing I want to do is go out and have a bunch of conversations with strangers, especially conversations about myself. So why do I love it?
Well, let’s talk about it.
When I started the program, I heard, “you need 1000 people in your database to graduate.” My brain said, that’s a requirement and you can’t afford to have to pay more because you don’t build your database.
Now having 1000 people in your database has nothing to do with when or if you graduate from the program, its not a requirement at all, but that’s not how I heard it, so I set myself a goal.
250 per semester.
For me that number was much more achievable and less overwhelming for me to look at. It felt doable and that was all the motivation I needed. Now I’m also a consummate overachiever so I know that I would look to get that number in the quickest and most efficient way possible and it was those actions, finding the 20% of my actions that made 80% of my growth was when I fell in love with database.
So what made up my 20%?
