Those complicated-looking, patterned squares that magically connect you to webpages or apps are called QR codes, and creating them is actually the easiest part of working with them, taking only about 5 minutes. The difficult part is creating what you want the QR code to link to.
A QR code works because the pattern of black and white space stores the data that links to a URL, such as this one, which is the URL for the homepage of my website.

Once you have this, you are already halfway done with the process. You're next step, if you don't count, say creating your website, would be the longest step, and it's finding a program that will generate the QR code for you. Now I have a preferred platform, because it's free, doesn't require me to make an account or give them my email, and I'm unlimited in the amount of QR codes that I can generate at any given time.
The platform I love and have used for years is called QRFY.com. This is what their platform looks like; it makes everything super easy. Once you get here, it breaks down into two steps.
